10x or Bust? 9.7x!
Closing out the first near 10-bagger Bison Insights idea
The initial concept for Bison Insights was to share stock and related securities ideas in the oil & gas space that had the potential to 10x, for informational and educational purposes. That scope as broadened, as I’ve shared a variety of ideas, some with ~10x potential upside, some with less potential upside but also less downside risk. Today I’m pleased to announce the “closing” of a position that has increased 9.7x since I first wrote about it in August - almost but not quite 10x!
Many people believed it wasn’t possible to find opportunities with potential ~10x upside after the post-COVID recovery in energy stocks, but this idea is exactly the kind of overlooked, asymmetric opportunity I launched Bison Insights to share, explain and discuss. Below, I’ll provide an update on the security and why I’m closing out the idea here. In short: Mission Accomplished!
