The Wall Street Journal Featured One of My Ideas — Here’s What It Didn’t Cover
One of my investment ideas was recently profiled by the Wall Street Journal, but it missed core drivers of upside! I revisit and update them below.
Last weekend, The Wall Street Journal published an article highlighting a stock I first wrote about in September in “Cashing In on Gavin Newsom’s Presidential Ambitions – The Biggest Winner from California Energy Policy Moderation.”
The WSJ article focused on a specific geopolitical development that has emerged since my original publication that this company stands to benefit from. What it did not address were several other value drivers I identified in September, which have since contributed to meaningful stock price outperformance relative to the broader energy sector, as measured by the XOP, since publication:
